Positron emission tomography (PET) is a nuclear medicine, functional imaging technique. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to investigate the anatomy and physiology of the body. Our aim is to carry out volumetric analysis of MRI images of brain and PET image of the brain, to map the anatomy and physiology with the functional characteristics of the brain for better diagnosis of malignancy of tumor.
